Based on the bestseller by Nicholas Sparks. A Walk To Remember was shot in under 40 days. It is one of several movies shot in Wilmington based on a Nicholas Spark's book. Most of the movie was shot in and around historic Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach, with some of the most iconic scenes being shot downtown (near Lula's and Level 5). Nicholas Sparks lives in New Bern, North Carolina, just up the coast!
